Details
The Details
tab contains case details that may be relevant for case such as the
primary issue type, secondary issue types, allegation, additional details, complainant, subjects, witnesses, and more. These are typically fields you would get from a whistleblower channel or your client wanting to conduct the investigation.
This page is initial case context for TensorCase’s AI. Please try to fill out this page as best as you can prior to using the case AI features. The more your populate this page, the better our AI is able to relate documents, evidence, people, and reports to the case.
Allegations
You can associate one of more allegations to a given case in the Allegations
section of the Details
tab. The allegations will be numbered, e.g.
Allegation 1
, Allegation 2
, etc.
Within each allegation, you will have the following fields:
Primary Issue Type
: A primary issue typeAdditional Issue Types
: Zero or more additional issue typesIncident Timestamp
: An incident timestamp of when the allegation incident occurred or started to occur.End Timestamp
: An end timestamp of when the allegation incident finished occurring.Allegation
: A description of the allegation.
To create additional Allegations
, click the +Add
button under Allegations
section.
Note: you can also create or edit issue types by click the ellipses ...
button next to Primary Issue Type
and selecting the corresponding option.
Policies
You can associate one of more policies to a given case in the Policies
section of the Details
tab.
You can either enter the policy manually or upload a file with the policy via the Upload
button. If you
upload a lengthy full policy file, we recommend isolating the policy to just the part relevant to the case
in the Policy text box.
To create additional policy fields, click the +Add
button under Policies
section.
Additional
You can associate one or more custom fields to a given case in the Additional
section of the Details tab
.
To create additional custom fields, click the +Add
button under the Additional
section. This will allow
you to create additional text or date fields. We recommend naming the fields something descriptive for our AI to understand.
You can visually rearrange the Additional
fields by clicking the lock button to unlock the frozen fields. After
rearranging, click the lock button again to lock and freeze the fields.
Participants
You can associate one or more Complainants, Respondents (also known as Subjects), or Witnesses (Persons of Knowledge)
to a given case in the Participants
section of the Details
tab.
Status
You can track the stage a case is in as well as the investigation team involved in the Status
section of the Details
tab. When you update the stage
of a case, your progression is automatically tracked by our system
and measured in the Analytics
page.
